After hearing many great reviews for authentic Indian food my hubby & I dropped by for a little lunch. Our server, Ashish was friendly, good natured & efficient. Entrees; Lamb La Jawab was very good with delicious almond saffron sauce & touch of saffron. Eggplant Bhurta was ordered “NO heat”. The eggplant did not have that smokey flavor it’s known for. It was too hot for me. My husband who can handle heat did not enjoy the flavor. “Just tomato mush & hot.” In making this dish with no heat, please omit the chili for your customers. I have a disorder that causes extreme burning inside my mouth. I took over 6 hrs for get relief from 1 bite of this dish. Phew. Having had Indian food from restaurants in UK & NL this diner says the Lamb La Jawab saved the lunch. The Naan bread was very good. The table pitcher of water was refreshing. Nice cup of tea. This was the old Caraba’s Restaurant. So it needs a bit of help. It’s old. Decor was very in keeping. Cute little ceramics on a shelf and a few nice prints. The ladies bathroom needs a deep scrubbing. The vanity soap dispenser needs repair. Spruce things up a very deep scrubbing in all corners. The black grout is awful with dirt b

The food is flavorful and well-made - portions are generous and everything comes out hot. You can tell they put care into the spices and prep. What I liked just as much was the ambiance. It’s clean, well-lit, and has a nice seating area, so it doesn’t feel rushed. Good place to sit down with family or friends and actually enjoy the meal without the usual takeout rush. Service was friendly and quick too.

Overall, a really nice experience! The Indian cuisine here is fantastic—the biryani and chicken dishes we ordered were full of flavor and hit the spot. Definitely a great place to satisfy your Indian food cravings.

“We were away from home and craving some authentic Indian food, so we decided to try this place. The goat biryani was flavorful and well-cooked, and we also enjoyed the Nizam kebabs, which were quite delicious. The restaurant seems well-managed and had a steady crowd, which is always a good sign. They offer a wide variety of options on the menu, though we only tried these two dishes. Overall, it was a satisfying experience and a solid choice for Indian cuisine.”

First time coming in with my sister and all I have to say is NO REGRETS!!! the food was really good! As a person who enjoys spice everything tasted amazing. If you don’t like spice they can always make it less spicy but for me it was just right. Thinking of trying the goat vindaloo next time we come in. Staff was very attentive. We tried a little bit of everything and honestly no complaints AT ALL!!! And we couldn’t skip out on dessert!
